Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, Gödöllő-Máriabesnyő
Máriabesnyő is a small district of Gödöllő in Hungary and an important Catholic pilgrimage site. Its main attraction is the Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady, which was built in the 18th century after a small statue of the Virgin Mary was discovered there in 1758. Since then, Máriabesnyő has become one of the most visited Marian shrines in Hungary.
