Gellért Hill

Gellért Hill is one of Budapest’s most iconic natural landmarks, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. At the top stands the Liberty Statue and the Citadel, overlooking the Danube, its bridges, and both the Buda and Pest sides. The hill is crisscrossed by scenic walking paths, viewpoints, and green spaces that are open to the public. Although the Citadel may be under renovation, the surrounding park areas and outlooks are freely accessible.
