Pesti Vigadó

The Pesti Vigadó is a neo-Renaissance monument on the banks of the Danube, one of the most ornate buildings in the city centre. Although it is primarily a venue for events and concerts, its exterior facade and decorated details are open to the public. The promenade in front of it offers a magnificent view of Buda Castle and Gellért Hill. The building is particularly impressive when illuminated at night. From the outside it is a unique experience walking along the historic Danube embankment.
